2023 TRI-STATE FOOD TRUCK BATTLE - ADDITIONAL INFO
Friends of Fred LLC - ‘Your 1 Stop Shop for ALL Things Food Truck’ – is happy to announce that we are teaming up with the city of Connersville, IN & Sassy Peacock Events to bring you the TRI-STATE FOOD TRUCK BATTLE – You will find links to both the downloadable application & the online form application (requires a Google/gmail account) here on this page if you are a Mobile Food Vendor & would like to take part in this GREAT OPPORTUNITY! All Food Vendors from Indiana, Ohio & Kentucky are invited to show off their FLAVOR! All vendors power must be self-contained & must be permitted (temporary permit will suffice) to vend food in Fayette Co, Indiana - here is the form you fill out & mail in with your payment - Click Here.
Here’s how it will work – each attendee that enters the food area will be given a ballot –
one ballot=one vote. Each participating truck will receive a container/box for their customers who would like to vote for them to place their ballots.
At the end of the voting period (8:00pm) a Friends of Fred Staff Member will come and collect all of the ballot boxes from the food vendors – then a team will tally the votes (by weight – if any voting in the top 4 is closer than 1 oz apart in weight – those ballots will be hand counted – trucks can have a representative present for the tally process) - and the prizes will be awarded at 10pm – just before the end of the event.
